These two cuties recently celebrated their first birthday. In farm animal themed, open bar, bbq style of course! Shout out to Mom & Dad for booking the perfect location at Beavers in Houston. Happy 1st Birthday Catherine and James!
The first time I spoke to this beautiful new mama, I knew this was going to be a very special portrait session. It was in fact, their first as a family of four. Baby Anthony had just turned 2 months old and along with their sweet Boston Terrier, Hunter (these two completely stole the show) they were so excited to capture this moment in time. On a crisp afternoon in Houston at the James Baker Institute, it was the perfect location for what will no doubt be the first of many wonderful photographic memories together. I wanted to hug Vanessa as she explained to me that she had taken many, but had yet to be photographed with her new baby boy (gush). As you can see, problem solved!
I'm going to bet that this happens almost never. Meet Mariel & Michael and their beautiful twins Catherine and James. Mariel's sister Rachel and her husband Ryan are also parents to twin girls Parker and Ella. These adorable cousins arrived within weeks of each other and here they are in their first official portrait together. What you don't see are the 8 grown people who stood behind me hootin' and hollerin' trying to get everyone to look my way for the perfect shot. Such a fun afternoon with ya'll!
Yes, I have officially entered the amazing world of newborn photography! Meet John Wayne. He arrived a wee bit ahead of schedule on September 27th @ 1:25am! But long before he made his debut, his sweet Mama and I were plotting and planning his very first portrait session. At only 8 days old I spent some time with this cutie pie while his exhausted Mom & Dad watched re-runs of Friends and hoped against hope that the Astros would get farther than they did. I am gushing over these images and in complete awe of the first looks of this precious little boy.
It is nearly impossible to ignore the blooms that are literally springing up all over Texas. This little beauty braved the pollen for an adorable session amongst the blue bonnets. I really wanted to capture her innocence because truly, life just goes by way too fast.
